Kira Compton is bad at writing bios, as well as several more important things. She is a PhD student at the University of Southern Mississippi. She received her MFA from Boise State University, where she served as Associate Editor of the Idaho Review. Her writing has been published in places like The Florida Review, The Saranac Review, Creative Nonfiction, hex literary, and others. Her more legitimate interests are fiction writing and filmmaking.
